The Grand Master's Lodges of Instruction for Mark Master Masons and Royal Ark Mariners meet at Mark Masons' Hall twice a month during the winter months, September to March inclusive.   The Advancement and Elevation ceremonies are rehearsed at each meeting (thus, twice a month for each ceremony);  the Installation ceremonies are each rehearsed once a month, Mark at one meeting and Royal Ark Mariner at the next.   An Annual Festival is held in April, at which the Advancement and Elevation ceremonies are demonstrated.

The rehearsals of the degree ceremonies start at 5.00 p.m., with the Mark and Royal Ark Mariner ceremonies alternating in first place.   Installation ceremony rehearsals, for Installed Masters or Commanders only, start earlier at 4.15 p.m.   Instruction is given in a friendly and relaxed manner.   Attendance at a lodge of instruction can be of great help, by enabling brethren to familiarise themselves with the ritual; to gain confidence in their ability to deliver it as well as they can, to the advantage of their Lodges and their candidates, and to widen their circles of acquaintances in Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Masonry.

Meetings are held at Mark Masons' Hall, 86, St. James's Street, London SW1A 1PL.  (Underground Stations: Green Park or Piccadilly Circus), generally in accordance with the Calendar shown.   Brethren desiring an Installation rehearsal should notify the Secretary or the Preceptor in advance of the date required.
